It can become so exhausting trying to understand someone's real feelings or true intentions. In 2021. I'm still like Lil Kim's NO TIME. I don't have time to be playing detective with what anyone is implying with what isn't made explicit. Miss me with the subluminal messages. Just know if it ain't directed, it's definitely not respected. When you 'read between the lines' it means you are able to understand the real message in what you are reading or hearing. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the metaphors, but when I am reading a book, I don't wanna be trying to read in between to the lines....LOL I want the picture painted for me.
I'm sure you have been to the zoo. Well if you haven't let me set the scene. A zoo is a place where animals live in captivity and are put on display for people to view. Now when you see these animals on display, not to far from them, you will find a plaque or some sort of display with the animal fact. The inscription is so thoroughly written you don't have to guess what animal in which they are describing. Those facts display relevant information. So, from one writer to another, it's not cool to have your readers read between the line. If you want to be respected then use subluminal to follow up with some relevant complete thoughts, so we the readers, won't be confused. Leave those reading between the lines as some cliffhangers to keep the readers wanting to read. Make us feel like we are at the zoo getting all the relevant information.
